Adobe CS5 Official Release Date May 2010

24 March 2010 One Comment

You heard right! We finally get our new toy in May of 2010! Apple Insider recently reported that Adobe will be unveiled on April 12th, with shipping expected to start a month later. This is very exciting news for the design industry, as Adobe CS5 will actually have been worth the wait. I was personally skeptical considering that CS4 failed to impress me outside of the innovations to Flash, and After Effects which don’t necessarily help graphic designers and digital artist nearly as much. I always felt that a new Wacom tablet would have been a better investment than CS4 and I still stand by that statement.

But with the new features coming out for Photoshop, Flash, InDesign, Illustrator, and such this release is going to be groundbreaking, and I think that Adobe releases with odd numbers are going to be the better ones. I remember Photoshop 7, CS1 and CS3 having proved this in the past.
