Raven Dawn was chance to use a combination of different effects, that I hadn’t combined in my previous images. The stock for this model comes from the amazing stock gallery of Katanaz. The background texture was done by myself using a Wacom Tablet.

Inspiration
I thought of this piece while thinking about the movie Angels & Demons. It occurred to me that I hadn’t done an angel or any such piece in a while, but I didn’t necessarily want to do a traditional piece. I decided to take the opportunity to try out a few effects that I had recently experimented with including my custom grunge brushes. It was a hard decision to settle on the colors and tones for this, but I’m ultimately satisfied with the result.
